"WE AMPLIFY THEIR VOICES!" WE INVITE YOU TO THE EXHIBITION OF 'VOICE DISCOVERY in HONG KONG'!

Voice Discovery in Hong Kong is a UGc Funding Student Initiated Project in PolyU.
It is Organized by GYLP students, and this project is aiming for 2 things:
1. To introduce poverty in HK
As a slogan says, we 'amplify' their voices. Voices of who? The voices of people in poverty. There are 1 out of 7 people in poverty, but their voices are often hidden. We discover the hidden voices of these people and amplify it out so that more people can be aware of the poverty situation of HK, especially focusing on Homeless and Working Poor.
2. Promoting cultural integration within campus
Our project is containing both local and non-local participants. The organizers of this project also contains non-local students (for example, the writer of this post is Korean ;) ) All students from different cultural backgrounds can integrate together and amplify the hidden voices by activities and workshops. We believe that anyone, regardless of nationality, can amplify the voice of HK!

With the help of our wonderful 'voice hunters', we have collected voices and pictures of hidden side of Hong Kong, and now it is time to AMPLIFY IT OUT! :)
IN FACT, THIS PROJECT'S PARTICIPANT CAN BE ANYONE WHO WISH TO FIND OUT HIDDEN SIDE OF HONG KONG AND AMPLIFY THEIR VOICES!

The 3-day Post Fotomo Workshop finally comes to a successful end yesterday ;> We are honored to have invited Fotomo Artist, Mr. Alexis Yip, as our tutor! Thank you do much for your help along the whole programme since Stage 1!

We have successfully finished the stage 1 training session for our voice hunting!😃 Voice hunters learned how to make 3d picture model called fotomo, and learned about working poor and homeless people's situation in HK. Now they are ready for stage 2 which will take place this saturday👍 Follow our Instagram 'voice_discovery_HK' and stay tuned in our discovery!
