𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: 𝗞𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗞𝗜𝗦

O Κωστής Γαρδίκης έρχεται από τους φαινομενικά ασύνδετους χώρους της μουσικής και της επιστήμης. Είναι πτυχιούχος Φαρμακευτικής με MSc και PhD στην Νανοτεχνολογία και εργάζεται ως Διευθυντής Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης της APIVITA. Παράλληλα είναι ενεργός ως συνθέτης, performer, sound artist και παραγωγός με τα σχήματα “Dance with Invisible Partners” και “λοκατόλα”. Τα προσωπικά ερευνητικά του αντικείμενα είναι το μη ορατό, οι λεπτές αποχρώσεις της πραγματικότητας και το κενό, και για την έρευνα αυτή συνδυάζει επιστήμη και τέχνη, ως μία οντότητα.

Με ένα υβρίδιο ομιλίας και performance, ο Κ. Γαρδίκης θα επιχειρήσει να εξηγήσει -με τη βοήθεια της μουσικής- γιατί το Παιχνίδι με το αόρατο και το μυστήριο είναι το μεγαλείο της ανθρώπινης ύπαρξης, καθώς και για ποιο λόγο στο Παιχνίδι αυτό η επιστήμη και η τέχνη αποτελούν ένα κοινό, μοναδικό εργαλείο.

Kostis Gardikis comes from the seemingly unrelated areas of music and science. He has studied Pharmacy and holds an MSc and PhD in Nanotechnology while working as a Research Director in the field of natural products. At the same time, he is actively a composer, performer, sound artist and producer with the bands “Dance with Invisible Partners” and “lokatola”. His personal research objects are the invisible, the subtle nuances of reality and emptiness, and for this research he combines science and art, as one entity.

By combining speech and performance, K. Gardikis will try to explain -with the help of music- why Playing with the invisible and the mysterious, constitutes the greatness of existence, and why in this game, science and art are one common, unique tool.
