Design of the Annual Report and data visualization for Small Enterprises' Institute - ΙΜΕ ΓΣΕΒΕΕ_Ινστιτούτο Μικρών Επιχειρήσεων on "The impact of the pandemic on business". Edition includes various customised infrographics and data analysis based on the research, leading design to a functional, clear and legible approach. “Christophoros Doulgeris travels all over Greece collecting notes in his personal diary. The photographer’s notes are the thousands clicks of his camera. His diary doesn’t startby chance, from the plain need to keep a moment but from the need to select pieces and fragments of our collective grief. In a scheduled manner he has traversed Greece in its entirety. His work entertains the aim to preserve in life the remnants from schools, which once existed, but now remain void, without students and teachers, faltering in time. He captures the culture of the door, of a derelict building, of the abandonment of learning in the times of democracy.” Maria Maragou

Creation of a collectible and numbered limited edition in collaboration with visual/ photography artist Christophoros Doulgeris, for his photographic work entitled The Schools Project | Edition I. Edition consists of a handmade casing box, whose letters have been designed from the beginning, placed in the lower right corner, inspired by the era of modernism, a time when the pictured schools were in operation. Edition includes the work of this journey, carefully placed and organised in a delicate crafted way, hand-stitched slides, high-definition printing, and with absolute accuracy, so that the whole in turn works as an artefact.

Edition of 6 copies plus 2 Artist Proof and 2 Hors Commerce. Edition of 10 original signed and numbered limited edition photographs, accompanied by an Artist book. Edition of 50 copies.

Annual Report 2020 for Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
In 2020 the notion of how public spaces operate and their contribution to society were transformed while entertainment and emotional support arose as much needed elements of our lives, perhaps more than ever before. At the SNFCC, the response to the challenges posed in the last year came in the form of a consistent strategy based on three pillars: educating and informing employees and visitors, investing in safety, remaining close to its audience, even from afar- thus staying true to its vision. To include all the above, we created elements in a 3d dimensional way, that co-ordinate under the same base, are flexible and reflect the strategy adaptability and SNFCC perspective, while the data visualisation co-exist in harmony with the book aesthetics.

Art direction and visual identity of the cultural program of the Municipality of Athens, Opanda and Τεχνόπολη Δήμου Αθηναίων - Technopolis City of Athens. A coordinated initiative to strengthen, unify and highlight four emblematic cultural spaces in the centre of Athens. Campaign lasted from June to September 2021.

Overall direction aims to enhance the range of arts through a prism of senses and experiences, a range that connects events and venues with each other, during the Athenian summer. Art performances carry meanings which are coloured and structured through the experience of each creator and viewer. Buildings and outdoor areas, the Attic sky, sounds, movement and the change of temperature of the city compose an experiential experience in the spaces that in turn create memories, senses and emotions.

TBD Armin is a typographic study, born out of admiration for the academic work of Swiss graphic designer Armin Hofmann, his method of analytical systems whose creation is not a limiting factor, but an extension of different methodologies in terms of form, as a vital part of a composition.

A. Hofmann's original exercise consisted of a 4x4 grid of circles in an array that creates a square and the goal was to create flexible shapes / forms that manage to exist in the grid without overlapping. This exercise took place in the context of his teaching career in the design school of Basel. Wanting to continue this methodology, but also to expand it and experiment with it, we added another parameter to the grid (5x5), so that letters with alternative glyphs can be designed. In this process we found many extensions, in addition to the study in the typographical legacy of A. Hofmann. It is also a motive for the creation of a pedagogical tool, useful to young children, for practicing the form through wooden constructions, sculpture etc. The typographic study / research for Armin Hofmann began in 2018 and was completed in November 2020, a few weeks before his loss.

TBD Armin gained the award in its category "Experimental Work" on the Greek Communication Design Awards 2021.

Άλλη μια #διάκριση για το ΙΜΕ ΓΣΕΒΕΕ στα φετινά βραβεία ΕΒΓΕ! Η ετήσια έκθεση του Ινστιτούτου, με τίτλο "Ψηφιακός μετασχηματισμός και μικρές επιχειρήσεις", η οποία και σχεδιάστηκε από το δημιουργικό γραφείο The Birthdays Design, απέσπασε το βραβείο στην κατηγορία "Εταιρικό Έντυπο". Η άρτια και "έξυπνη" σχεδίαση της έκθεσης, η πρωτοποριακή παράθεση και οπτικοποίηση των δεδομένων δίνουν μία νέα, ανανεωτική ματιά στις ερευνητικές εκδόσεις του Ινστιτούτου. Εύγε!

The Word for World is Forest by legendary Ursula K. Le Guin for Aiolos Publications/Εκδόσεις Αίολος, is a sci-fi novel with deep ecological sensitivity, the fruit of an era when the author had a strong activist concerns. Le Guin explored the manner in which the structure of society affects the natural environment, in themes of colonialism and militarism.

The creation of the cover is inspired by the very characteristic and at the same time descriptive title of this novel, and was depicted by the creation of custom letters, with a strong and handwritten texture.
The book has been honored with the 1973 Hugo Award for Best Novel.

A series of two books in a transparent box, by Christophoros Doulgeris for CFGA Law firm.
The interior of the building on Panepistimiou street, was captured by Christophoros Doulgeris in this printed collection entitled In Between / Photographic Comments of the day, and summarises the interiority and transparency of working space, in the midst of the pandemic, leaving through its imprint, a point in time.
