High Contrast Cinema are a non-profit, volunteer-run cinema organization formed by a group of friends in late 2022. Our mission is to share our passion for cinema with others by offering an opportunity to enjoy a carefully curated selection of classic films from the Golden Age of Hollywood and beyond, with an initial focus on the mysterious alleyways and shadowy corners of film noir. Our purpose i

s to provide an experience beyond just the flickering of images on a silver screen; we want to build a community united by an appreciation of the artistry and magic of movies that often elude streaming platforms and may not have been viewed by local audiences in decades. Thrilled to announce our next season with three films starring the actor the America Film Institute named the greatest male star of classic American cinema...

HUMPHREY BOGART.

The season will be titled: Bogart - Crime, Chaos & Casablanca.

On Friday October 2nd, we having the Warner Bros gangster flick, The Roaring Twenties.

Then on Friday November 6th it's the film many critics believe to be the greatest film noir of all, In A Lonley Place.

Finally, one of of great movies *ever*, the one and only Casablanca.

Tickets will be on sale soon, watch this space.
