SIDCUP STORYTELLER FINAL DAY JULY 29TH

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us since we opened back in 2023. The community that we have built is truly special and we can’t thank you all enough!

It’s with a heavy heart that we are announcing our closure, with a final day of screenings on July 29th 2025. The venue will continue to operate as a cinema under new management from September. All current memberships will be valid with the new operators.

All of us at the Sidcup Storyteller are gutted but we are proud of what we have achieved, having brought back cinema to Sidcup for the first time in 23 years.

Whilst we are sad, we are determined to go out with a bang and welcome lots of you over the next week where you can catch new release The Fantastic Four: First Steps from Thursday plus Superman, Jurassic World Rebirth, Elio, The Ballad of Wallace Island and more.

We also would like to thank our incredible team of staff for their unwavering hard work and dedication over these past two years as well as all of our community partners.

* As Bexley Council have kindly confirmed all existing memberships will be honoured with the new operator.
