Thank you to Ossie an elder in KPC for sharing his favourite Bible verse...There are so many Bible great challenging verses but ill go for a popular one Proverbs 3 v 5 & 6

To Trust in God there must be complete commitment of ourselves, spirit, soul and body to Him. We are not just to trust Him for our salvation, but also for direction of our lives.
We need to acknowledge that we don't know what is best for us and that we're not capable of guiding ourselves.
We have to acknowledge the supremacy of God in ALL things, and turn over every area of our lives to His control, and have a real desire to do, and follow His will.
I Believe that if and when we follow this that God promises to direct our paths. 👍🙏🙌

Thank you to David an elder in KPC for sharing your favourite Bible verse. He says it actually is his favourite and his wife Katie's favourite verse because at their wedding David's Grandfather shared it and the verse has stuck with them ever since! 👍🙏🙌

Thank you to Gordon an elder in Kilkeel Presbyterian Church for sharing your favourite book in the Bible. Here what he said about Colossians...

'I don’t really have one favourite Bible verse, but I do have a favourite book, Paul’s letter to the Colossians, a book brimming over with Gospel truth. Chapter 1 teaches us who “our Lord Jesus Christ” really is – the Eternal Son of God. I have taken the liberty of choosing two verses, 21-22.
These two verses are a summary of the testimony of every born-again believer.' 👍🙏🙌

It is brilliant to have elders from Kilkeel Presbyterian, over the next number of weeks share their favourite Bible verse...Thank you John for starting us off 👍🙏🙌
'I love where I live, from our kitchen window we have a fantastic view of the Mourne mountains. I never tire of looking at them and they remind me of our great Creator God. This verse from Psalm 121 is of great comfort to me as I know that our great God, who made the mountains, is all loving and all powerful. Therefore I don’t need to worry as he is able to be my help regardless of my need.'
