PICO'S PICTURE HOUSE
A night of comedy, food, booze and fun! I have seen a fair few movies in my time and (now that I have found a pair of glasses what fit me) I look all intellectual and pretentious and s**t. So I have decided to grace you all with my opinions a
nd musings on some of the greatest and lamest movies from throughout history. PICO'S PICTURE HOUSE is an event where I shall provide a running commentary about a cinematic masterpiece of my choice. Or in layman's terms for the dullards amongst you, I talk about a film pointing out it's highs and lows and take the p**s a lot. Good times. But that's not all…
There will also be a little comedy, a few entertaining inter-web clips, food provided for all, and a little movie related quiz with various degrees of prizes! "But PICO," I hear you cry, "Why would you bless us with such a glorious night? What have we done to deserve your wealth of knowledge on the subject of cinema? By the way we love you as you are the bestest ever!"
Well my friends, in these troubled modern times we have suffered many things that have lessened the human race and degraded our society.
-High School Musical and it's vapid sequels.
-The bulls**t unnecessary remakes such as Clash Of The Titans and Total Recall.
-The Keith Lemon Film.
-And of course, the ever pointless Twilight Saga. Their legacy of horror, banality and sheer existence must be counteracted with the joy one feels when hearing a filthy mouthed sponge ranting off about it. This is my first solo event so I'm pretty chuffed with myself and hope loads of you can make it! Due to the strict laws and licensing guidelines we are only allowed to advertise at the venue and in this group. It's a private/secret group but PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD PEOPLE OR SUGGEST OTHERS BECOME MEMBERS. It's the only way for you to find out what we're doing and where!
