Tuesdays are exercise day.
Starting with practical exercise to prevent falls, followed later on with chair 🪑 dancing to Calypso 🪇 and Afro Beats💃🏾

3 Things I have learnt about becoming a certified Tv & Film personal stylist 💫

I have noticed:
Do you just watch a film 🎥 🍿 and remember the story line more than what they were wearing in the movie? 🤔

I watch the film 🎥 🍿 but I am drawn to what they are wearing 😍👗🥻

HOW MY CLIENT WENT FROM LOST AND CONFUSED OF WHAT TO WEAR, TO FEELING EMPOWERED 💫

My client came to me, feeling very confused about what she could wear to look and feel her best. 😊

She wanted to create her style 💫 and feel good about herself again. Since reaching 50, she felt frumpy and didn’t know how to dress for her body shape 🙁

After we created her new look, she said she felt excited 🤗 to go out shopping because she understood her style now and knows what to look for.

She called me her fairy godmother 🧚🏾‍♀️💫and told me I had the magic touch 🪄🤭

FINDING YOUR PERSONAL STYLE

The key to looking great 👍🏾 isn’t following all the latest fashion trends. It’s staying true to who you are and finding your personal style.

Style refers to a person’s particular way of expressing themselves 👩🏻‍🎤👩🏻‍💼. It is the way an individual expresses their style through accessories, clothing, hairstyles 💇🏾‍♀️ or the way they put an outfit together. Personal style is about developing a sense of self rather than just following the trends.

Finding your personal style, isn’t something that happens overnight, there are steps that you can use, to learn more about the clothes that work for you.

Here are 3 steps to help you find your personal style;

💫 Look in your closet at the clothes you have and pick out the clothes that make you happy and that are your favourite. Then think, why do they make you feel good? As you go through each piece, notice what they all have in common.

💫 Find fashion inspiration, observe those who’s style you admire. That could be friends, family, celebrities, social media, fashion magazines etc

💫 Learn about different style types and identify the ones which you most align.

My daughter Siân, she inspires me everyday, with her logical thinking, thoughtful and kind personality

Oprah Winfrey , who came from very humble beginnings, overcame adversity and become the woman we all know and love today. 💫

Mother Teresa, is a prime example of sacrifice and strength. She inspires me with her kind heart, helping those who needed it most 🕯️

Helen Keller, American author✍🏻, political activist and lecturer, was the first deaf and blind person to earn a college degree, providing that the only obstacle in achieving one’s dream is yourself.

Debra Roberts Henry , who inspires me with her courage and strength 💪🏾

Is shopping a nightmare for you, finding clothes that suit you? 😫

That’s what my client felt like before coming to see me.

She felt frustrated and confused 😕

I walked her through and consulted her through her wardrobe detox and now she says…

“I understand my style so much better and shopping is not gruelling as it was before.” 😍

This was from one of my clients during a follow up session this week from her wardrobe detox.

This made my day! 😃

Before her wardrobe detox she said she was “frustrated” and didn’t know what to look for 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is WHY I love giving women the self confidence to own their clothes and to put together styles from clothes they already have. Knowing I am making a difference that empowers my clients. 💫
