'Twenty Something' is a tapestry of the defining decade. The work cultivates a pessimistic atmosphere that looks at the disappointments involved with growing up. The work encourages reflection and aims to persuade all that life is not that bad, in fact it’s brilliant. ositive, youthful optimism as a reality to be celebrated and presents humans on stage. The ensemble work is a distinctive, physical, high energy, piece that incorporates props, musical instruments, and text to create a soundtrack to ‘life: the movie’. was performed at Topsy Turvy, Turn, Tilt Dance Platform, International Day of Dance, City Steps and Big dance 2012, A double bill with taciturn dance company at the Heron Theatre. The duet work is the first piece of dance that Ellipsis Dance Theatre has created. The debut work gives a perspective of the performers artistic relationship and interplay of distinct and individual approaches to their work. They hope to tour their new work in 2014.
