The Return of the Living Dead 1985 95mins ☆☆☆1\2
Written and directed by Dan O'Bannon(who also wrote the "Alien" screenplay), this iconic comedy-horror film is a true 80s gem, that revolutionized the zombie genre by introducing brain-eating ghouls, zombies that can talk, run, and are nearly unkillable, even the parts that get chopped off keep going!
It is widely celebrated for its wild, punk-rock aesthetic and dark humour.
The story follows two bumbling employees at a medical supply warehouse who accidentally break open a secret military canister, releasing a toxic gas that reanimates the dead in a nearby cemetery. As a horde of flesh-eating ghouls terrorizes the town, the employees, their boss, a local mortician, and a group of teenage punk rockers must fight to survive.

This cult-classic 80s zombie horror comedy is a true blast from start to finish, amazing practical effects, great soundtrack, questionable acting🤣 and so much fun it hurts, pacing is perfect with not a moment of screentime wasted, check it out, it's a cracker🍿⚰️💥
Todays song is by The Cramps a psychobilly garage-rock band whose career spans nearly 30 years, if you'd like to dive in, we'd recommend starting with the albums "Songs the Lord Taught Us"(1980) and "Psychedelic Jungle" (1981)🎙🎸🥁🧷🎧
