DINAS POWYS COMMUNITY CINEMA SPRING SEASON 2026
Dinas Powys Community Cinema Autumn Season reaches a climax on Saturday 11 April 2026 with “The Choral”. Doors open 6.30 pm. Tickets £5.00
Licensed Bar and Welsh ice cream.

As World War I rages on, Dr. Henry Guthrie takes over a British choral society that's lost most of its men to the army. The community soon discovers that the best response to the chaos of war is to make beautiful music together.

“Along with Fiennes, I found myself completely enthralled by Amara Okereke's turn as Salvation Army volunteer Mary. With a sublime voice and charismatic presence, Okereke commands the screen magnificently. Truthfully, the entire ensemble is strong here. From its opening moments, I was quite taken by Mike Eley's lensing and original music from George Fenton”.
