From October this year in a series of night-time shows, Tripnotic is set to tear down the old flat screen cinema, replacing it with a hi-tech digital
dome where the sound and vision are not only in front of you but all around you and even above your head. As the dome moves you move with it. When the dome rocks your whole world rocks too. With some of the best made-for-dome films out there as well as new trippy and experimental film experiences from up-and-coming dome film makers, Tripnotic is set to give audiences an unforgettable experience. Mind-expanding, inside the dome you become part of the action, rather than simply a passive observer. Many report that after the experience they never look at a visit to a flat screen cinema in the same way again. Domeheads have their own social zone right outside the Thinktank dome, a place to cool out, soak up the ambience and before the show or in the interval enjoy a relaxing drink from the bar. The new date for the next Tripnotic night at Thinktank is SATURDAY THE 25TH OF FEBRUARY 2012.
