What Does the Artrix, Bromsgrove Mean to Its Community? Hi, Bromsgrove Council have asked the Artrix to prove its importance to the community before it agrees to give them any funding. Alison Berrisford.

I made this page to bring attention to the fact that Bromsgrove Council is not only halving the annual funding of £120,000 but have now said they will only give the £60,000 if they can prove it will benefit the community! I truly believe that we need the Artrix, it provides great live entertainment, cinema, workshops and provides a fantastic venue for budding artistes and theatre groups both profe

ssional and amateur, there is nothing else like it in the area for bringing the community together. Please make your thoughts known on here and also get in touch with the council, papers etc......Lets make sure that the funding, which lets face it comes from us the tax payers, is given to the Artrix so it can keep giving the community what it needs and deserves!
