After two incredible years, the Lightspeed Film Exhibition is coming to a close.

Thank you to every filmmaker, audience member, collaborator and supporter who helped us showcase Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands talent. Lightspeed achieved what we created it to do and while the exhibition is ending, the three of us aren’t going anywhere.

Keep creating. We’ll see you out there. 🎬

Last Friday was something special.

Thank you to every filmmaker, audience member, volunteer, and supporter who helped make Lightspeed Film Exhibition 2026 such a success. Seeing a packed theatre celebrate local cinema is exactly why we started this.

We’re already excited for what’s next.
