Ever wondered what happens after you place your Farm to Plate Marketplace order? πŸ‘€πŸŒ±
It’s more than just a process β€” it’s a community in motion.

Behind every order is a network of hub organizers, delivery and packaging volunteers working together to bring locally sourced food and pantry staples from producers straight to you. πŸšœβž‘οΈπŸ“¦

Every box packed, every route planned, every hand involved β€” it all matters.
And the best part? You can be part of it.

✨ Join us for an evening of connection, food, and the opportunity to shape the future of community meals! ✨ Our Community Meal: Meet & Eat marks the pilot of our weekly community mealsβ€”bringing neighbours together over food to foster connections and create space for future gatherings, from games and films to engaging discussions.

Enjoy a coconut curry meal with a base prepared by Chef TJ Conwi of ReRoot, finished by our community members with food from CityReach. 🌿 ReRoot began during the pandemic, transforming surplus food into over 300,000 meals. We are proud to collaborate with them to make community meals accessible and meaningful.

This pilot aims to develop a formula for replicating long-term, affordable, and fun community meals at neighbourhood houses, community centres, churches, and other open spaces across the city.

πŸ—“ Thursday, 28th November at 6 PM
πŸ“ Pacific Spirit United - 2195 W 45th Ave
🍲 Suggested donation of $5 for a coconut curry (tofu or chicken) or feel free to bring your own food!

Join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and community-building! πŸ€πŸ’¬
