Plot:

In 1996 Brooklyn, Molly Wright witnesses her parents being neuralyzed by agents of Men in Black after they see an alien in their home. Molly helps the alien escape, avoiding neuralyzation herself. Twenty-three years later, rejected from government agencies due to her "delusions" regarding alien life, Molly tracks down an alien landing and follows MIB agents to their headquarters in New York City. Caught entering the agency, Molly makes an impression on Agent O after revealing she had bypassed neuralyzation, arguing that her obsessive search for them makes her "perfect" for the job and she has no life outside her search for the agency. She is awarded probationary agent status as "Agent M" and assigned to the organization's London branch.

There, M meets High T, head of the London branch, and Agent H. M learns that H and T fought off an invasion of the Hive, a parasitic race who invade planets by merging with the DNA of the conquered species, at the Eiffel Tower in 2016, using a wormhole included in the original migration to Earth. H has since become unconcerned with his duties and only keeping his job due to High T covering for him. M arranges for herself to be assigned to assist H in his meeting with alien royalty Vungus the Ugly, H's close friend.

During their night out with Vungus, they are accosted by mysterious alien Twins able to manifest as pure energy. The Twins fatally injure Vungus, who gives M a strange crystal before he dies, claiming that H has changed since they last met and cannot be trusted. M points out that few people knew Vungus' location, and he was likely betrayed by one of the agents present when High T assigned H to guard him. Nervous at the possibility of a traitor within MIB, High T assigns Agents C and M to investigate while H is demoted to desk duty, with evidence suggesting that the Twins had DNA traces of the Hive.

H convinces M to join him in following a lead to Marrakesh, where they recover "Pawny", the last survivor of a small group of aliens attacked by the Twins. Pawny pledges loyalty to M, and they are trapped by MIB agents coordinated by C, who recovered video footage of Vungus passing the crystal to M and believes she is the traitor. With the aid of alien contacts Nasr and Bassam, H escapes with M and Pawny on a rocket-powered bike, and they learn that Vungus' crystal is a weapon powered by a compressed blue giant. As they repair the damaged bike, Bassam steals the weapon and takes it to H's ex-girlfriend Riza Stavros, an alien arms dealer. Traveling to Riza's island fortress, the trio attempts to infiltrate the base, but is caught by Riza and her bodyguard Luca Brasi. Luca, the alien M rescued as a child, returns the favor by allowing them to leave with the weapon while he keeps Riza contained. The three are cornered by the Twins, who are killed by High T and a group of agents.

Although the case appears concluded, H and M review the evidence and realize that the Twins' phrases suggest they required the weapon to use against the Hive, especially when the only evidence of Hive DNA was provided by High T. They discover High T has deleted the case file and not sent the weapon to evidence, and has gone to the Eiffel Tower with the weapon. C also realizes High T's deception and allows H and M to follow High T to the Eiffel Tower. As they travel to the reopened wormhole, M's questioning of H's memory of the Hive's defeat reveals he was neuralyzed when the Hive converted T into one of their own during the battle. The High T/Hive hybrid activates a wormhole to draw the Hive to Earth, but H draws out High T's true personality long enough for M, with the help of Pawny, to use the weapon at full capacity to destroy both the hybrid and the Hive infestation trying to reach Earth.

With the truth of T's conversion exposed, Agent O joins H and M in Paris, where she grants M full agent status and appoints H probationary head of MIB's London branch.

In 2012, alien criminal Boris the Animal escapes from a maximum-security prison on the Moon to take revenge on Men in Black (MIB) Agent K, who shot off his arm and arrested him in 1969. He eventually confronts K and his partner Agent J, telling the former that he is "already dead" before leaving. J and K fall out over the latter's efforts to stop him from pursuing Boris and refusing to explain what happened. At MIB headquarters, J's superior, Agent O, denies his request for further information on Boris' apprehension; only revealing that around the same time, K also deployed the ArcNet, an interplanetary shield that prevented the now-extinct Boglodites from invading Earth.

Boris obtains a time machine from Jeffrey Price, the son of a fellow prisoner named Obadiah Price, and travels back in time to July 16, 1969, to kill K, altering history. Though J retains his memories, he briefly suffers from strange side effects, which O identifies as signs that the space-time continuum was fractured before Earth is threatened by a Boglodite invasion. Recalling Boris will commit murder on July 15, 1969, J seeks out Jeffrey, obtains his own time machine, and travels back in time to stop Boris. However, he is arrested by a young K, who almost neuralyzes him until J convinces him of his mission. Following a series of clues, the pair reach the Factory, where undercover MIB agent Andy Warhol directs them to an Archanan named Griffin, who can view all possible outcomes and escaped to Earth after the Boglodites destroyed his planet. Sensing the younger Boris' impending attack, Griffin flees, but alludes to his future location. K and J later find Griffin at Shea Stadium and rescue him from the younger Boris.

As the present-day Boris arrives in the past and convinces his younger self to join forces with him, Griffin gives the ArcNet to K and J. After deducing the device must be attached to the Apollo 11 rocket to send it into Earth's orbit, J reluctantly reveals K's impending death. With Griffin revealing that only K can successfully attach the device, K encourages J to take the risk. The trio use jetpacks to reach Cape Canaveral, where Griffin advises the pair to tell the truth to the military police instead of neuralyzing them. They are apprehended by the colonel, but Griffin shows him the importance of their mission. The colonel subsequently assists them in reaching the rocket while Griffin leaves, assuring J that history will be restored once K takes Boris' arm. The Borises attack the agents, but they defeat them before K attaches the ArcNet. Present-day Boris falls into the launchpad's flame trench and is incinerated by the rocket's exhaust while the ArcNet is successfully deployed.

K reunites with the colonel, but the latter sacrifices himself to save him from the younger Boris, who goads K into arresting him. K refuses, killing him instead. K soon learns the colonel's son, James, was nearby and reluctantly neuralyzes him. Witnessing the events from afar, J realizes the colonel was his father and his younger self's presence kept him from forgetting K. Returning to a restored 2012, J reconciles with K while un-aged Griffin tells the viewers "this is [his] new favorite moment in human history."

In 1978, a group of aliens called the Zarthans, led by Princess Lauranna, travel to Earth and beg the Men in Black (MIB) organization for help in guarding a powerful item called the Light of Zartha before a shapeshifting alien called Serleena gets it. Due to their neutral status, the MIB refuse before Agent K seemingly sends the Light off-world in a rocket. Enraged, Serleena kills Lauranna and leaves to pursue it.

In 2002, five years after joining the MIB, Agent J has become one of its top agents, but has developed a reputation for neuralyzing partners he feels are emotionally unfit to cope with the work. Serleena returns after being informed by a two-headed alien named Scrad and Charlie that the Light is still on Earth and forces them to help her find it. She later kills a Zarthan pizzeria owner named Ben, who refuses to tell her where the Light is. While investigating Ben's murder, J develops an attraction towards a witness named Laura. J breaks MIB protocol and chooses not to neuralyze her. Investigating further, J later discovers that K hid the Light on Earth.

Due to K having been neuralyzed five years ago before retiring, no one knows where the Light is. J finds K serving as postmaster of Truro, Massachusetts and convinces him to return after exposing his coworkers as disguised extraterrestrials. J brings K to MIB's headquarters to use the deneuralyzer machine to restore his memories. However, Serleena, Scrad, and Charlie attack the facility, forcing the pair to escape and find Jack Jeebs, an alien pawnbroker who built an illegal deneuralyzer. Although the machine works, K fails to remember the Light, as he had neuralyzed himself and those memories have not returned. Nonetheless, he left himself a series of clues. After locating a locker key at the pizzeria and leaving Laura with a group of alien worms for her safety, the pair head to Grand Central Terminal, where they find a locker containing a society of tiny aliens who worship K as their deity and developed a religion around a video store membership card.

Visiting the store, the owner shows them a fictionalized version of the MIB's previous encounter with the Light and Serleena. K remembers what really happened, but only tells J that the Light must leave Earth within one hour or Earth will be destroyed. J believes the Light is Laura's bracelet, which is now glowing. The pair head back to the worms, only to learn Serleena attacked them and kidnapped Laura. Joined by the worms, the agents infiltrate and retake MIB headquarters and rescue Laura before escaping to return the Light. Serleena chases them across Manhattan until J tricks her into being eaten by Jeff, a gigantic worm-like alien living in the subway.

Guided by Laura's bracelet, the agents locate a Zarthan transport ship, where K reveals Laura is the Light and Lauranna's daughter before convincing J to let her go so she can save Earth and Zartha. As Laura is about to leave, Serleena makes another attempt at seizing her, having assimilated Jeff, but K and J kill Serleena. K uses a giant neuralyzer hidden in the Statue of Liberty's torch to erase New York's populace's memories of Serleena's actions.

J grieves his lost relationship with Laura. In the locker room, K and Zed provide relationship advice. K also puts the society of the locker in J's personal locker, before revealing that their world is also contained in a locker.

In the mid-1950s, the Men in Black (MIB) organization was founded. After secretly making first contact with extraterrestrials in 1961, the small, underfunded government agency becomes fully independent and secret. The MIB designates Earth as a neutral zone for alien refugees who live in secret among humans. Agents monitor alien activity and use memory-erasing neuralyzer devices to maintain secrecy.

In 1997, MIB Agents K and D disrupt a border patrol operation at the Mexico–United States border to capture a Samurian named Mikey. When Mikey becomes violent, K uses his own MIB pistol to kill him and neuralyzes the patrol officers. D, feeling too old to continue, asks K to neuralyze him so he can retire.

Soon after, NYPD officer James Darrell Edwards III apprehends a suspect, unaware that he is an alien. The alien warns of a coming threat before committing su***de. K, impressed by James' performance, recruits him into the MIB. After completing a series of tests, James becomes Agent J, and his previous identity is erased from public records.

Meanwhile, a hostile alien known as a "Bug" crash-lands in upstate New York. The Bug kills a farmer named Edgar and uses his skin as a disguise. K and J, tipped off by a tabloid news article, question Edgar's wife. They learn that the Bug has killed two aliens who were living on Earth in disguise. Their bodies, along with their pet cat, are sent to a morgue overseen by coroner Laurel Weaver.

At the morgue, the alien tells J and Laurel that "the galaxy is on Orion's Belt" before dying. After neuralyzing Laurel, K identifies the alien as Rosenberg, a prince from the Arquillian Empire. K and J visit Frank the Pug, an alien informant, who explains that Rosenberg was protecting a miniature galaxy. The galaxy is a powerful energy source that the Bug wants to use to destroy the Arquillians. An Arquillian warship soon arrives in Earth's orbit and demands that the MIB return the galaxy, or they will destroy the Earth.

J and the Bug both realize the galaxy is on the collar of Rosenberg's cat, Orion, which is now with Laurel. The Bug captures her and swallows the galaxy. As the Arquillians prepare to destroy Earth to stop the Bug, the MIB locks down all transportation. J guesses the Bug will head to the New York State Pavilion, where the MIB hid flying saucers during the 1964-65 World's Fair.

At the site, the Bug tries to escape with Laurel, but she briefly breaks free. K and J shoot down the ship, which crash-lands in Corona Park. The Bug sheds his human skin, revealing his true form and swallowing the agents' weapons. K allows himself to be eaten so he can retrieve his weapon from inside. J distracts the Bug until K shoots the Bug apart from within. Laurel uses J's gun to finish the Bug off.

After returning the galaxy to the Arquillians, K reveals that he was training J to take his place. J neuralyzes him so he can retire. Later, J continues his work with Laurel, who has joined the MIB as Agent L.

A long zoom-out shot reveals that the universe is contained in a marble, with which a green, gelatinous alien plays before putting the marble in its bag.

In the twenty years after the War of 1996, the United Nations has founded the Earth Space Defense (ESD), a global defense program using reverse-engineered alien technology and serves as Earth's defense force against extraterrestrial threats. Civilization has been restored, and relative peace among nations exists following the human race's victory over the aliens' attacks. The ESD set up bases from Area 51 to the Moon, Mars, and Rhea, and orbital defense satellites above Earth, as fortifications against future invasions.

ESD Director David Levinson meets with warlord Dikembe Umbutu and Dr. Catherine Marceaux in the African state République Nationale d'Umbutu. They travel to a landed alien saucer and discover that the aliens were drilling before sending a distress signal to their homeworld before their defeat. It is revealed that people such as former U.S. President Thomas Whitmore, Dr. Brackish Okun, and Umbutu are telepathically linked to the aliens' collective consciousness, following personal encounters, and have visions of an unidentified spherical object.

An unidentified spherical ship emerges from a wormhole near Earth's Moon. Despite objections from Levinson, the United Nations Security Council orders the ship to be destroyed. Defying orders, American pilots Jake Morrison and Charlie Miller then collect Levinson, Marceaux, Umbutu, and U.S. federal controller Floyd Rosenberg on a space tug. They head for the wreckage in the Van de Graaff crater, where they recover a large container holding a sphere. An alien mothership, over 3,000 miles in diameter, suddenly appears after responding to the distress call, and proceeds to destroy much of Earth's planetary defense systems before landing over the North Atlantic Ocean where it starts to drill down toward Earth's core for fuel that will destroy the planet in the process. Narrowly escaping death, the space tug avoids capture and returns to Area 51.

Whitmore, Levinson, and U.S. General Joshua Adams's groups interrogate one of the aliens held in captivity at Area 51's prison facility from the war. They learn that the aliens exist in a hivemind and that one of their colossal Queens is commanding the invasion. Realizing that they had killed a supervising Queen above Earth during the first invasion, Levinson hypothesizes that if they kill this one, her forces will cease drilling and go dormant. An ESD aerial fleet led by Captain Dylan Hiller stages a counterattack, but they are ambushed within the mothership, leaving only a few survivors, including Dylan, Jake, Charlie, and fellow ESD lieutenant and Chinese pilot Rain Lao.

In Area 51, Okun opens the rescued container and releases a giant white sphere containing a virtual intelligence. The sphere reveals that her mission is to evacuate survivors to a planet of refugees from other worlds targeted by the aliens, whom she calls "Harvesters", and unite them in an attack on the Harvesters' planet. In the mothership, all surviving ESD pilots manage to escape by hijacking enemy craft; Dylan, Jake, Charlie, and Rain navigate two Harvester fighters to pursue the Queen's personal ship, which is heading to Area 51 to extract information from the sphere about the refugee planet.

Knowing that the Harvester Queen has become aware of the sphere's location, the ESD hides her in an isolation chamber and uses a decoy in Jake's space tug to lure the Harvester Queen's ship into a trap. Whitmore volunteers to pilot the transport ship on a su***de mission, leading the Queen's ship into the trap before detonating a bomb, thus destroying the enemy ship by sacrificing himself. However, the Harvester Queen survives by using an energy shield of her own and another battle ensues, leading to the Harvester Queen finally being killed. Then all the remaining alien fighters are rendered inactive while the mothership stops drilling and retreats to space.

Okun reveals that the sphere has asked humanity to lead her resistance in preparation for an attack on the Harvesters' homeworld.

On July 2, 1996, an extraterrestrial mothership, entering Earth's orbit outside the Moon, deploys its flying saucers, each 15 mi (24 km) in diameter, over major cities worldwide. U.S. Marine Captain Steven Hiller and his unit, the Black Knights fighter squadron stationed out of MCAS El Toro, are called back from Independence Day leave; his girlfriend, Jasmine Dubrow, decides to flee Los Angeles with her son, Dylan. Retired combat pilot Russell Casse, now an alcoholic single father and crop duster, sees this as vindication of the alien abduction he has been claiming for 10 years.

In New York City, technician David Levinson decodes a signal embedded within global satellite transmissions, realizing it is the aliens' countdown for a coordinated attack. Aided by his ex-wife, White House Communications Director Constance Spano, David and his father Julius reach the Oval Office in Washington, D.C. and alert President Thomas Whitmore.

Whitmore orders evacuations of Los Angeles, New York City, and the District of Columbia, but it is too late. Each saucer fires a beam, incinerating every targeted city, killing millions. Whitmore, Spano, the Levinsons, and a few others barely escape aboard Air Force One while Jasmine and Dylan take shelter in a tunnel's inspection alcove and survive the destruction of Los Angeles.

On July 3, Earth's military retaliations against the invaders are thwarted by the alien warships' force fields. Each saucer launches shielded fighters, devastating the human fighter squadrons and military bases, including Steven's. Steven lures one fighter into the Grand Canyon before ejecting from his plane, blinding the fighter using his parachute and causing it to crash in the Mojave Desert. He subdues the downed alien and flags down the convoy of refugees Russell joined with, transporting the alien to Area 51, where Whitmore's plane has landed.

U.S. Defense Secretary Albert Nimziki reveals that a government faction has been involved in a UFO conspiracy since 1947, when one of the invaders' fighters crashed near Roswell, New Mexico. Area 51 houses the refurbished ship and three alien corpses from the crash. Chief scientist Dr. Brackish Okun examines the alien captured by Steven, which awakens, telepathically invades Okun's mind, and psychically attacks Whitmore before the alien is killed by Secret Service agents and military personnel. Whitmore learns the invaders' plan from the psychic attack; they intend to annihilate Earth's inhabitants while harvesting its natural resources, as they have done to other civilizations.

Whitmore reluctantly authorizes a trial nuclear attack against a saucer above a mostly evacuated Houston, but while Houston is destroyed, the saucer's force field protects it from the blast. All subsequent nuclear attacks are aborted. Jasmine and Dylan, having commandeered a highway maintenance truck and rescued several survivors, including the badly injured First Lady, Marilyn Whitmore, reunite with Steven who takes them to Area 51, where Marilyn succumbs to her injuries after reuniting with her own family.

On July 4, inspired by Julius, David devises a plan to write a computer virus on his laptop and, using the refurbished fighter to dock with it, upload the virus into the mothership's operating system to disable the alien's shields, then using a tactical nuclear weapon to destroy the mothership. Steven volunteers as the mission's pilot, and the U.S. military contacts other nations using Morse code to organize a united aerial counterattack. Lacking pilots, Whitmore and General William Grey enlist volunteers with flight experience, including Russell, to fly the remaining jets. Steven marries Jasmine, with David and Constance present, during which the divorced pair reconciles before Steven and David leave on the mission.

Entering the mothership, they upload the virus. With the shields down, Whitmore's squadron engages a saucer targeting the Area 51 base. They exhaust their ammunition, and as the saucer readies to fire, Russell sacrifices himself by crashing into its primary weapon, destroying the saucer. Grey orders notifications to resistance groups worldwide about the saucers' critical weakness, leading to their destruction.

Steven and David launch the nuclear missile and narrowly escape the destruction of the mothership and all the aliens in it. As humanity celebrates its victory against the aliens, Steven and David are rescued after surviving the crash and are reunited with their families.

In 2008, InGen operates a dinosaur genetics laboratory on Île Saint-Hubert, located in the Atlantic Ocean. It houses transgenic and mutated dinosaurs that the company head deemed disturbing. When a six-limbed Tyrannosaurus called Distortus rex escapes containment, all personnel abandon the island.

During 2025, most of Earth's climate is unsuitable for the de-extinct animals that InGen and other companies created. The remaining animals survive in equatorial regions with climates similar to the Mesozoic era, where exclusion zones have been established for them. Martin Krebs, an executive at pharmaceutical company ParkerGenix, enlists Zora Bennett, a former covert operative, to work with paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis on a classified mission to collect DNA-containing biomaterial samples from three large prehistoric specimens, which are crucial for a new cardiovascular disease treatment. In Suriname, Zora recruits longtime associate Duncan Kincaid to lead the expedition, along with maritime pilot LeClerc, mercenary Nina, and security expert Bobby Atwater.

The team illegally travels to Île Saint-Hubert to gather bio-samples from the aquatic Mosasaurus, terrestrial Titanosaurus, and avian Quetzalcoatlus. Meanwhile, Reuben Delgado is sailing near the island with his daughters Teresa and Isabella, and Teresa's boyfriend, Xavier Dobbs. When a Mosasaurus attacks and overturns their sailboat, Reuben sends a distress call. Despite Martin insisting the group stay on mission, the expedition team rescues the family. The Mosasaurus resurfaces, and the team successfully collects a blood sample using a modified dart gun. A pack of Spinosaurus joins the Mosasaurus in attacking the ship, killing Bobby. To maintain the mission's secrecy, Martin prevents Teresa radioing for help and does nothing to prevent her from falling overboard. Xavier jumps in to rescue her, followed by Reuben and Isabella, separating them from the team. The ship runs aground on the island, where a Spinosaurus kills Nina. Zora reveals that a rescue helicopter will circle the island in 24 hours if there is radio silence. The team locate a herd of Titanosaurus and obtain a sample. It is decided it is safer to retrieve the Quetzalcoatlus specimen – the amniotic liquid – from an egg. Zora, Henry, and LeClerc rappel down a cliff to a nest inside an ancient cave temple. A Quetzalcoatlus returns and devours LeClerc, but Zora and Henry secure the last sample.

Meanwhile, the Delgados make it ashore and search for the abandoned InGen complex, hoping to find a radio there. They encounter various dinosaurs, including a Mutadon, a hybrid raptor/pterosaur; and an Aquilops, which Isabella names Dolores and adopts. The group finds an inflatable raft and, after surviving a Tyrannosaurus rex attack, proceed down a river.

Both groups reunite at the InGen complex. When Teresa exposes Martin, he threatens everyone with a handgun, takes the samples, and escapes to the helipad in a UTV. A group of Mutadons descend on the others, who flee through underground tunnels. The rescue helicopter arrives, but the Distortus rex destroys it, killing the pilots. Escaping into another tunnel, the survivors find a locked gate at the end, with a boat and the gate control panel on the opposite side. As a pursuing Mutadon approaches, Isabella fits through the gate bars and unlocks it. The team escapes just as the Distortus appears and devours Martin, who is forced to drive off the road after almost having crashed into an Ankylosaurus. Zora retrieves the samples and the group launch the boat while Duncan distracts the Distortus with a flare.

Zora, Henry, Reuben, Teresa, Xavier, and Isabella escape in the boat. Duncan survives and signals the group, who rescue him. Zora and Henry decide to distribute the biomaterial as an open source resource, ensuring global access.

Plot:

Four years after the Lockwood Estate incident that followed the volcanic eruption of Isla Nublar, once-extinct dinosaurs freely roam the Earth, breeding exponentially in order to increase the population numbers of their species. Amid global efforts to control them, Biosyn Genetics establishes a dinosaur preserve in Italy's Dolomites and conducts genomics research, ostensibly for pharmacological applications.

Claire Dearing, Zia Rodriguez, and Franklin Webb investigate illegal dinosaur breeding sites, also gathering proof of cases of animal cruelty. Claire's partner, Owen Grady, helps relocate stray dinosaurs. At their remote cabin in the Sierra Nevada mountains, Claire and Owen secretly raise 14-year-old Maisie Lockwood (Benjamin Lockwood's seemingly biogenetic granddaughter) and protect her from groups seeking to exploit her unique genetic makeup.

When Blue, the last of the Velociraptors Owen raised and trained, arrives at the cabin with an asexually-reproduced hatchling, Maisie names it Beta. Increasingly frustrated living in seclusion, Maisie sneaks away to explore. Mercenaries searching for Maisie find and kidnap her and Beta.

Meanwhile, swarms of giant locusts are devastating U.S. crops. Dr. Ellie Sattler observes that crops grown with Biosyn seeds are left uneaten, raising suspicions that Biosyn created the insects. She takes a locust obtained from West Texas to her former romantic partner, paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant and reveals she is now divorced from her husband Mark. They determine the locust was genetically engineered with Cretaceous-period and contemporary DNA.

Franklin, now with the CIA's dangerous-species division, discloses to Claire and Owen that the mercenaries are at Malta. Upon arrival there, they infiltrate a dinosaur black market with Owen's former Jurassic World colleague Barry Sembène, who is leading a French Intelligence raid. Carnivorous dinosaurs are unleashed during the foray, wreaking havoc. When Claire and Owen learn that Maisie and Beta were transported to the Biosyn facility, sympathetic cargo pilot Kayla Watts agrees to fly them there.

Chaotician Dr. Ian Malcolm now works for Biosyn. He sought Ellie's help to expose CEO Dr. Lewis Dodgson after communications director Ramsay Cole warned him of Dodgson's illegal and irrational activities. Dodgson is exploiting dinosaurs and forcibly coerces former InGen geneticist Dr. Henry Wu to modify the transgenic locust to let Biosyn corner the world's food supply. Wu denounces the plan, warning it will cause an ecological collapse as the locusts spread unchecked.

Wu meets Maisie and explains that his former colleague, Dr. Charlotte Lockwood (Benjamin Lockwood's deceased daughter) used her own DNA to replicate herself, giving birth to a genetically identical Maisie. To prevent Maisie from dying of the same fatal disease that would later kill Charlotte, she altered Maisie's DNA by injecting her with a custom-engineered pathogen. Wu believes that Maisie and Beta's asexual conception and DNA are key to recreating Charlotte's pathogen to halt the locust outbreak.

A Quetzalcoatlus attacks Kayla's plane in Biosyn's airspace, forcing Owen and Kayla to crash-land in the icy wilderness while Claire is ejected. After Claire lands in a forest swamp, she narrowly escapes from a Therizinosaurus, while Owen and Kayla escape from a Pyroraptor and all three meet up after their separate dinosaur encounters. Inside Biosyn, Ian and Ramsay covertly advise Ellie and Alan on where to obtain a locust DNA sample. While searching for the lab, they encounter and meet Maisie. Discovering the breach, Dodgson attempts to incinerate the locusts to destroy evidence; some locusts escape through an air vent while ablaze, sparking a huge wildfire and firestorm around the preserve, threatening to kill any dinosaur in its path.

Alan, Ellie, and Maisie barely escape the facility before finding Ian. They meet up with Owen, Claire, and Kayla, but are all attacked by a Giganotosaurus and take shelter in an observation tower. Ramsay joins them after abandoning Dodgson, who flees with dinosaur embryos via a hyperloop, but becomes trapped after Claire and Ellie reroute the power and is killed by a trio of Dilophosaurus. As the group works together, Owen, with Alan and Maisie's help, locates and captures Beta. They and Wu escape in a Biosyn helicopter amidst a fight between the Giganotosaurus and Isla Nublar's former resident Tyrannosaurus, Rexy, the latter assisted by the Therizinosaurus.

Ellie and Alan rekindle their romantic relationship before testifying with Ian and Ramsay against Biosyn. Owen, Claire and Maisie return home and reunite Beta and Blue. Wu releases a host locust carrying the pathogen, gradually eradicating the swarms. Dinosaurs, Animals and Humans now adapt to a new co-existence, and the United Nations officially declares Biosyn Valley as an ultimate international dinosaur sanctuary.
